What you'll do:
Gather your friends, or make it a date with your partner, grab your favourite bottle of bubbly and join Sally from Slow Yarn, Brisbane, for an afternoon of fun at a 'Sip & Knot' Workshop, where you'll create your own modern macramé plant hanger.
Our workshops are held in the beautifully styled, light-filled studio space of Florals by Blush in the trendy South/City/Square at Woolloongabba.
In this fun and relaxing 2 - 2.5 hour workshop, you'll learn a variety of basic macramé knots and create your own plant hanger from ethically made, recycled cotton.
Get creative and add your own style with custom accent colours (choose from our gorgeous mustards, blues, earthy tones and pastels!) and beads.
With lots of support and encouragement, we'll be there to give you lots of tips and tricks to create a gorgeous hanger and help you feel more confident in creating your piece.
What you'll get:
At the end of the workshop, you'll have created your own macramé plant hanger to take home and have the skills to continue creating your own macramé at home!
Additional Plant Hanger Kits will also be available to buy and take home at the end of the day!
We'll supply:
A workshop kit with everything you need to create your own plant hanger.
What to bring:
Bring along your own pot / plant or choose from one of our pots that we'll have available on the day to purchase, and design your plant hanger to fit your pot perfectly.
BYO wine / drinks to get your creativity flowing! We'll have glasses for you :)
